PHILIPSBURG – A white Hyundai Elantra M-10926 was driving on the Pondfill Road heading towards the Central Bank, when a gray Hyundai Tucson SUV, which was also was on the Pond fill Road, made a left turn into the parking area of Subway.

The SUV did not give the right away to the white Elantra causing a collision. The impact was so hard it pushed the SUV backwards onto the grass on the right side of the road.

The driver of the SUV suffered minor injuries and according to eyewitnesses, he was complaining of pain in his neck shoulder area. The other passengers in the SUV and Elantra did not suffer any injuries.

Ambulance personnel arrived and took the SUV driver to SMMC for further medical treatment.
