36-year-old man on bail for assault
ANGUILLA — The Royal Anguilla Police Force (RAPF), on Sunday, March 13 around 2:30am, arrested and charged a 36-year-old man from Island Harbour for assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The arrest came as a result of an investigation into an early morning report of domestic violence made to the police. The alleged offender was arrested, charged and taken before the Magistrate’s Court on Monday, March 14. He was granted bail in the sum of EC $20,000 with one surety to return to court on July 7.
The offender is required to report to The Valley Police Station every Monday between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm, have no contact directly or indirect with the victim, and not go within 100ft. of the victim until the matter is disposed of by the court.
36-year-old on EC $10,000 bail
ANGUILLA — A 36-year-old man from Island Harbour is on bail having been arrested and charged for assaulting a police officer whilst in the execution of his duties, obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duties, and resisting a police officer.
The arrest of the alleged offender occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 13, whilst the officers were responding to a report in the George Hill area.
The offender who was arrested and charged was taken before the Magistrate’s Court on Monday, March 14, where he was granted bail in the sum of EC $10,000 with one surety. He is due back in court on April 11, and is required to report to The Valley Police Station every Monday between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm.
