POINT BLANCHE – Prison Director Edward Rohan, early Monday morning, February 13, went on immediate leave of absence.
According to reliable sources, 721news understands that in an earlier meeting with Minister of Justice Rafael Boasman, Rohan was given several options regarding his continued presence at the prison.
Some of the options involved his immediate termination, suspension, or going on immediate leave until further notice. Apparently, Rohan chose to go on leave with immediate effect.
Additionally, another meeting is slated to be held between Rohan and the Minister of Justice later this week to further discuss the way forward.
