PHILIPSBURG – During the summer, the Philipsburg Jubilee Library will implement a grace period; new opening hours, and three summer camps.

The grace period commences Tuesday, June 28 until Saturday, July 9. Patrons have the opportunity to bring in all their overdue and/or lost books at no cost to them.

However, on July 1, due to Emancipation Day, the library will be closed on that day. Saturday, July 2, they shall open as scheduled.

The opening schedule for the remainder of the summer is: Mondays – closed to the public; Tuesdays and Wednesdays – open from 9:00am to 12:30pm, and 2:00pm to 6:00pm; Thursdays – open from 2:00pm to 8:00pm; Fridays – 9:00am to 12:30pm, and 2:00pm to 5:00pm; Saturdays –  10:00am to 1:00pm. The library will resume regular opening hours on August 23.

Do remember to sign up your children for the various summer programs that are being offered at the library: the Panda Read Summer Camp for ages 7-12, Teens Summer Camp for ages 14-20, and the computer camp for ages 12-15 “Sky is the beginning summer camp 2016.”

The library appreciates the patronage of its members and wishes everyone a happy, safe and readable summer.
