PHILIPSBURG / WILLEMSTAD — The Court in Curaçao on december 20, 2016 rejected the request of R.G.K., R.M.R. and G.T.F. to prohibit the governor to sign their extradition to the United States of America.
The Supreme Court decided on November 15, 2016 that the three suspects can be extradited to the USA where they are suspected of drug-related charges.
They filed a civil injunction (“civiele kort geding”) requesting to prohibit the Governor to sign their extradition, which was turned down by the court today.
