JOHN’S, Antigua, October 30, 2015The Board of Directors, Management and Staff of LIAT, The Caribbean Airline, extend warm congratulations to the Government and people of Antigua and Barbuda on the attainment of 34 years of nationhood.

Chief Executive Officer David Evans said the theme “Antigua and Barbuda, Rebuilding with Unity and Purpose” is quite fitting, as the country continues on its development path.

Mr. Evans noted Antigua and Barbuda’s unwavering commitment to LIAT, serving as the carrier’s home base and LIAT’s second largest shareholder.

The LIAT CEO extended best wishes to citizens at home and abroad as they celebrate their Independence Day.

Antigua gained independence on 1st November 1981. While Sunday, November 1 will be the official holiday, the public holiday will be observed on Monday, November 2.
