The Library’s annual Christmas Market hosts crafters from all over St. Maarten displaying their arts and creativity. Shoppers can shop for one-of-a kind gifts, and decorations. This year is promised like previous years to be a community event.  Also, the familiar aroma of Christmas baking will be throughout the library.

Individually decorated stands will offer handcrafted goods and Christmas jewelry. “In order to make this event a success we would like to invite all interested persons to come out and register to be part of this phenomenon,” a release said.

Persons who would like to display or sell their arts and crafts, basket, liqueurs, and cakes should register by December 9. Registration fee is $28.25 or NAf 50. However, there is no fee for visitors to the market. Space is limited, as only 20 tables are available.

For further information contact Maryland Powell at the library at: 542-2970 or e-mail: pr@sxmlibrary.org.
