Head of Department of Education (DPE) Glenderlin Davis-Holiday, alongside management of MLK School, are currently working on the short-term goals as well as providing an action plan for the long-term. The Ministry is also looking into various means to avoid future reoccurrence.

Minister Jacobs assured the management, staff and the parents and students of the MLK School, that the alleviation of their concerns are a priority, and preparations are being made to ensure the safety and health of all.
