GREAT BAY – The Court in First Instance sentenced Kerby Degrammond, one of the robbers of the Atlantis casino back in November 2014, to an additional 12 months in prison yesterday. Degrammond, who was just 18 when he committed the robbery together with others dressed as women, was still on probation from a previous conviction – a 1-year conditional prison sentence. The court has now turned this conditional sentence into firm prison time.
The court furthermore sentenced Marlando Mark Robinson, 20, to 10 months of imprisonment, with 5 months suspended for a burglary in a home in Beacon Hill on February 21 of last year. Robinson stole on that occasion several electronic gadgets belonging to American tourists. The court imposed 3 years of probation.
