ANGUILLA – The Royal Anguilla Police Force (RAPF) has charged 19-year-old Quamie Eli of Shoal Bay with robbery, and assaulting a police officer whilst in the execution of his duty.

He was taken before the Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, June 8, to answer to both charges where he was granted bail by the Magistrate.

Eli, who will remain in the confines of his mother’s home, was granted bail in the sum of EC $45,000 with one surety. He is to be on curfew nightly from 6:00pm to 6:00am, surrender his travel documents and refrain from coming within 100ft of the witnesses.

He is due back before the court on Thursday, September, 15.
