Saba youngster murdered in Curacao

Suffisant, Curacao — On Friday January 1st, 2016 around 8:25am the police in Curacao dispatched a patrol to a stabbing incident that took place on “van Krimpenlaan” street in Suffisant. The police encounter two person with stabbed wounds to their chest area.

One of the victim’s condition was critical which caused  his death on the spot. The police doctor was called in to pronounce his death.

The Police identified the fatal victim as Romero Mauricio Sergio Mariano Simmons, Born Saba on february 11th 1993.

The other victim was only Identify by his initials B.E (31) born in Curacao, he was transported by ambulance in a critical condition to the Emergency Room of the St Elisabeth Hospital.

A few moment after on the same street van Krimpenlaan, the Police arrested S.A.J.M (50) born in Curacao as the suspect in the fatal stabbing. The police also confiscated the knife that supposedly was used to stab the two victims. This case is still under investigation
