The SXM Animal Collective is launching an appeal to travellers going to mainland France to accompany dogs to their new families.
The role of the accompanying person is simple: Go to the association at the airport to register the animal, then pick it up upon arrival. If the dog travels in the hold, a designated contact person will then take over. The costs associated with transporting the dog and the administrative procedures are entirely covered by the collective. They are looking for Air Caraïbes flights to Paris from Grand-Case or Air France flights from Juliana. Each placement allows a Saint Martin dog to reach its new home.
