August at the cinema returns for two final sessions at the end of this month. Organized by the local authority, the program offers free outdoor screenings in several districts of Saint-Martin, in the absence of a cinema on the French side of the island.

Originally scheduled for August 1st in Quartier d'Orléans and cancelled due to weather, the session has been rescheduled to This Friday, August 28th at 19:30 PM, in the parking lot of the Thelbert Carti stadium. In the program : A Minecraft MovieReleased in 2025 and adapted from the famous video game. For 1 hour and 41 minutes, Steve, Garrett, Henry, and their companions explore the blocky world of Minecraft and must face several challenges to protect the Overworld from a threat from the Nether. The next day, Saturday August 29 at 19:30 p.m., heading to the Galisbay parking lot in Marigot for the last session of the summer.

Viewers will be able to discover Snow White (Snow White), a new live-action adaptation of Disney classic from 1937. Rachel zegler embodies Snow White opposite Gal Gadot, in the role of the Evil Queen, in this reimagining of the famous tale. For this final evening, the audience has the option drive-in, while remaining seated in his carThe two films will be broadcast in English, with French subtitles.

These two meetings will therefore allow us to concluding the August summer film program with a dual offering, somewhere between fantasy adventure and fairy tale. _Vx
