La Interprofessional consular chamber of Saint-Martin (CCISM) is preparing a economic mission to Miamifrom November 16 to 19, 2026, with the aim of helping local businesses to better understand the American market and to develop new business opportunities. A first information meeting free is being organized this Wednesday, August 26 at 18 p.m. at the CCISM, at Concordia.
Baptized “From Island Roots to Global RoutesThis mission is being carried out in partnership with the Sint Maarten Chamber of Commerce (COCI) and several regional and international economic actors. It must to allow participating entrepreneurs to develop their networkto identify potential partners and to better understand the American economic environment.
For the CCISM, Internationalization represents a growth driver for businesses in a territory with a limited local market. The mission aims to demonstrate that export is available to very small businesses, craftspeople, shopkeepers and service providers. It is based on a regional cooperation with the chambers of commerce of Sint Maarten, Saba, Aruba, Curaçao et Anguilla to facilitate connections with the American market.
The meeting the August 26th meeting will allow business leaders in Saint-Martin to learn more about the Programs planned for Miami, the sectors concerned, the but also of the American market, the prerequisites to know as well as the support mechanisms available before and after the trip. Several stakeholders involved in organizing the mission will also be present, including representatives from the French, regional, and American Chambers of Commerce.
