The Daniella Jeffry vocational high school celebrated its students' success on Friday, July 10th, at its graduation ceremony. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, 115 new vocational baccalaureate graduates (68% pass rate) and 54 CAP (vocational certificate) graduates (70,1%) received their diplomas, alongside students recognized for their outstanding performance throughout the year.

Beyond the graduation ceremony, the school wanted to recognize students who distinguished themselves through their results, both within the school and across the entire Guadeloupe academy. In the vocational baccalaureate program in Nautical Maintenance, Jah'one Richardson achieved the highest average in the entire Guadeloupe academy with 16,84. This result was obtained after a year of work-study at EDF (the French electricity company). "It was hard to manage the pace between work and homework," the young man confided, proud of his accomplishments.

Two other students distinguished themselves academically: Théotime Julliand, with an average of 17,21 in “Sales and Marketing”, and Mal-Lick Deauville, top of his class in the “Multipurpose Retail Assistant” CAP with 17,22. In the “Restaurant Desserts” supplementary qualification, Ericka Emile was also rewarded for her average of 14,23. “I am very proud, I have been working towards this for three years”, explains the young CAP graduate, who will soon be moving to Paris to continue her studies in cooking and pastry.

The ceremony also honored students who distinguished themselves in the Academic Mathematics Rally, the Languages, Arts and Culture Festival, as well as the French UNSS sailing champions, Merlin Guerrier and Paola Vasquez. Present alongside the award winners to present some of the prizes were the new Vice-Rector, Nicole Noilhetas, and the 3rde Vice-President of the Collectivity, Dominique Démocrite Louisy, both former vocational high school teachers, praised the students' commitment and perseverance. _DR
