Johnnie Walker launches local campaign to invite St. Maarten to ‘Keep Walking’

St.Maarten – Progress. Unity. Determination. Charting the way forward for St Maarteen today means coming together to rebuild the island after the devastation caused by hurricane Irma. That is why the mantra of Johnnie Walker, ‘Keep Walking’ could not be a better message to inspire people in the country to continue their journey to recovery.

The brand will be deploying the local ‘Keep Walking St. Maarten’ campaign in different Media outlets by Carnival and it will showcase beautiful artwork made by local photographer, Christine Garner, who was happy to cooperate in delivering such a positive message.

“We wanted to launch this campaign right on Carnival, that is a moment of celebration in the country, because we feel that after all we have been through with the devastation caused by hurricane Irma last year, we needed to send a message to face the future of the island with hope and ‘Keep Walking’ is definitely a very powerful message”, said Roel Kokkelmans, Commercial Manager at International Liquor and Tobacco Trading NV, local distributor of the brand in St. Maarten.

Additionally, the brand will be launching a ‘Keep Walking St Maarten’ special edition package in April, to reinforce this message of progress for the country.
