The opportunity to address the issues encountered by everyone in the fight against drug trafficking and irregular immigration, to develop contacts and exchange information.

The participation of the Research Section is fully in line with the desire of the gendarmerie command of Guadeloupe and the Northern Islands to develop international cooperation. Particularly with his Dutch and Anguillian counterparts with whom tripartite meetings will be organized on a regular basis in Saint-Martin between now and the end of the year.

Within the SRD of Saint-Martin/Saint-Barthélemy, an international unit has been set up. It is made up of four gendarmes.
