From July 23 to 25, the Compagnons Bâtisseurs association is organizing a free course open to all to learn how to maintain your home and carry out small daily tasks.
The Compagnons Bâtisseurs, in partnership with SEMSAMAR, are launching the first edition of a practical training course at the Résidence Palmeraies, Building 8, in Quartier d'Orléans.
The initiative aims to help islanders save money and gain comfort while becoming more self-sufficient. Over three days, participants will learn the basics of DIY and home maintenance.
On Wednesday, July 23rd, the workshops will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and on Thursday, July 24th and Friday, July 25th, from 8:30 a.m. to 15:30 p.m. The program, which includes electricity, plumbing, tiling, painting, small masonry work, furniture and lock repair, plasterboard installation, bathroom renovations, and mold control, is as rich as it is practical. An introduction to eco-friendly practices is also planned.
The course is completely free, with no age limit, and lunch will be provided on Thursday and Friday.
At the end of the course, a certificate of participation will be awarded to craft enthusiasts. If this first edition is a success, other sessions could follow quickly. To register or obtain more information: 06.90.18.91.38 or 06.90.14.18.91. _L.M
