On June 4th, the CPTS Saint-Martin (Territorial Professional Health Community) invites local associations to an information meeting on the importance of having a registered primary care physicianThis meeting will be held from 19 p.m. to 21 p.m. in the association's premises. The Carmont Kids, at 88 rue Charles Tondu in Sandy-Ground.

This initiative is part of the CPTS's public health mission, which aims to strengthen ties between field stakeholders and improve access to care for the most vulnerable populations. On this occasion, Dr. Marc Thibaut, general practitioner, and Stéphanie Mac Yock Line, pharmacist, will lead the discussions after presenting the structure's missions. They will notably explain how a primary care physician's declaration is essential to ensure better medical monitoring, prevent disruptions in care pathways, and ensure better coordination between healthcare professionals in the region.

The event also aims to raise awareness among local associations about their key role in disseminating information to young people, the elderly, and those who are excluded from the healthcare system. By building closer ties with local organizations, the CPTS hopes to foster a collective dynamic that will improve care for the population.
