GREAT BAY--The Minister responsible for Economic Affairs Grisha Heyliger-Marten, through the Department of Economic Licenses, has launched a Holiday Booths Pilot Program to introduce a dedicated Christmas vending area along Walter Nisbeth Road for the 2025 holiday season.
For the first time, vendors will be able to secure Christmas Vending Booths similar in concept to Carnival booths, but with a specific Christmas atmosphere. The pilot will be limited to the stretch between Ketty’s Kitchen and Jimmy The Original Fat Boy on Walter Nisbeth Road. Based on public response and overall performance, the Ministry will consider expansion for 2026 and future years.
To ensure a cohesive holiday look, all approved vendors must:
- Decorate their booths in a Christmas theme
- Use a red, white and green color scheme
- Focus their offerings on Christmas themed food, beverages, crafts and products
Application Process

Deadline:
All applications must be submitted no later thanWednesday, November 26, 2025, at 12:00 p.m.Only ten (10) booths are available. Applications will only be considered if they are fully completed and include all required documentation. No exceptions will be made.
A confirmation meeting with selected vendors is scheduled forFriday, November 28, 2025.
Approved vendors will be allowed to operate during the Christmas vending period fromDecember 15, 2025, to January 5, 2026.
For questions or clarification, interested persons can visit the Department of Economic Licenses booth at the Public Service Center in the Government Administration Building, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The Ministry invites interested entrepreneurs to take part in this pilot project and help bring a festive Christmas experience to Philipsburg.
