Last chance to participate in the raffle for animals

MARIGOT: To raise funds and conduct a new sterilization campaign, the association I Love My Island Dog collaborated with the association Soualiga Animal Lovers in organizing a grand raffle which will be drawn this Saturday, September 17.

Created in 2007 by Ursula Oppikofer, the association I Love My Island Dog managed the shelter on the French side of the island from 2009 to 2017, it was destroyed after Hurricane Irma. Since then, the association focuses its efforts on raising awareness and providing care such as vaccination, microchipping, and of course sterilization. The rescue of the animals also passes by there.

This new raffle promises great prizes thanks to the donations of several local businesses: a weekend in a hotel, vouchers for clothes, accessories, and jewelry, dinner in restaurants, and a boat trip, the list is long and the cause is beautiful. To try to win one of these prizes while working to protect the animals of Saint-Martin, log on to the website of the association I Love My Island Dog (see Info) and click on “make a donation” under the name Paypal Donation.

The raffle ticket is 10 euros. For people who do not have a PayPal account, contact directly the association I Love My Island Dog or Soualiga Animal Lovers on their respective Facebook pages. Raffle tickets are also available for sale at the Cabinet Vétérinaire de Bellevue this Friday and Lovely Dog grooming salon in Hope Estate. Spaying or neutering them is also protecting them.
