MARIGOT: Initially scheduled for Friday, September 16, the third afternoon of the Job Dating BTP was postponed because of the passage of tropical storm Fiona. The operation returns in force this Friday, September 23 from 3pm in Marigot, on the central parking of the Collectivity.
On September 14 and 15, the Job Dating BTP took place respectively in Quartier d’Orléans and Sandy Ground. The Collectivité and the State organized this initiative in partnership with Pôle Emploi, the Mission Locale and the CCISM in order to promote the job offer by putting in direct relation the job seekers and the companies in search of staff in the sector of the BTP. The last edition will take place this Friday in Marigot from 3pm to 7pm with more than twenty stands present for the occasion.
The employment and training caravan – Job Dating BTP is financed within the framework of the Pacte Ultramarin d’Investissement dans les Compétences (Ultramarine Investment Pact in Skills) promoted by the State and deployed on our territory for the employment of the people of Saint Martin.
This program is aimed at women and men who wish to discuss in person with direct representatives of the construction sector about the possibilities of a professional future as a team leader, machine operator, electrician, plumber, laborer, gardener, iron worker, crane operator, tiler, mason, carpenter, roofer, etc.
All these disciplines offer several types of employment contracts: fixed-term, permanent, temporary and professional contracts. The first two events in Quartier d’Orléans and Sandy Ground, led by the project manager Fabiola Rioual and her team, were a real success. Vincent Berton, Delegate Prefect of the Northern Islands, was able to realize this success during his visit to the Job Dating BTP in Quartier d’Orléans.
It will probably be the same for the third part of the project which will be held this Friday from 3 to 7 pm. The opportunities are available to you, you just have to go and meet them, on the central parking of the Collectivity in Marigot.
