POLITICS: Legislative elections: deadline for submitting candidacy set for June 16 | FAXINFO

Following the dissolution of the National Assembly by President Macron and in accordance with the decree of June 9, 2024, the legislative elections will take place in Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin on Saturday June 29, 2024, in a single constituency.

If it is necessary to proceed, a second round will take place on Saturday July 6, 2024.

The prefecture informs the candidates that their declarations of candidacy must be submitted to the prefecture of Saint-Martin (23 rue de Spring in Concordia) at the following times:

  • Wednesday June 12: from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Thursday June 13 and Friday June 14: from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 14 p.m. to 16 p.m.
  • Saturday June 15: from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 13 p.m. to 16 p.m.
  • Sunday June 16: from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 13 p.m. to 18 p.m.

Candidates who wish can also submit their declaration of candidacy to the delegation of the prefecture of Saint-Barthélemy (8-10 rue Lubin Brin in Gustavia) at the following times:

  • Wednesday June 12: 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.;
  • Thursday June 13 and Friday June 14: from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.;
  • Saturday June 15: from 13 p.m. to 16 p.m.;
  • Sunday June 16: 15 p.m. to 18 p.m.
