SOCIAL – HEALTH: Hospital strikers call for a rally tomorrow afternoon | FAXINFO

As reported in today’s editionThe social movement at the Louis Constant Fleming hospital continues. In a press release issued this Wednesday, June 17, the FSAS-CGTG union calls on permanent and contract staff to to mobilize this Thursday, June 18th, starting at 15pm in front of the entrance to the health facility.
 
This mobilization comes at a time when… meeting with the Regional Health Agency (ARS) is scheduled for the morning, followed by a negotiation session with hospital management in the afternoon. The union indicates it wants to “ask the real questions” in the presence of a federal representative.
The demands focus in particular on working conditions in several hospital departments, staffing levels, the permanent employment of contract workers, hierarchical pressures, the security of the CMP (Mental Health Center) premises, the audit of psychosocial risks, and the multi-year training plan. The union is calling on staff to participate massively in the rally to support the ongoing negotiations.
