AIRPORT--Travelers departing from St. Maarten now have a fresh and convenient option to explore the Caribbean, thanks to a major regional expansion by Sunrise Airways.

The carrier has launched six new nonstop routes from Princess Juliana International Airport, providing direct access to Tortola, Antigua, Dominica, St. Kitts, Saint Lucia, St. Vincent and Grenada. All flights are operated using a 30-seat Embraer 120 aircraft, designed for short-haul efficiency and passenger comfort.

With service officially beginning July 27, Sunrise Airways is positioning itself as a key player in bridging Caribbean destinations. The airline’s expansion represents one of the most impactful developments in regional air travel in recent years, offering new opportunities for both leisure and business travelers to connect across the Eastern Caribbean.

Introductory fares are competitive, with the lowest starting at $79 for flights to St. Kitts. Routes to Tortola, Antigua, and Dominica are launching at $99, while tickets to Saint Lucia, St. Vincent, and Grenada begin at $199.

Sunrise’s move is the latest sign of growing demand for intra-Caribbean connectivity. As more travelers look to combine multiple islands into a single itinerary, airlines like Sunrise Airways, are increasingly stepping in to meet that need.

With this new network of flights, St. Maarten strengthens its role as a vital hub for regional travel and a springboard to the rest of the Caribbean.
