SINT MAARTEN/ANGUILLA – On March 12, 2019 the two schools from Anguilla that participated in the Scotiabank Rotary-Rotaract Spelling Bee 2018 were unable to be in St. Maarten for the presentation of the ‘Wish List Items’ to the participating schools, Rotary Mid Isle said in a press statement on Monday.
“Some of the Rotarians from The Rotary Club of Anguilla were present in St. Maarten this past weekend to attend RLI (Rotary Leadership Institute) training. The Rotary Club of St. Maarten-Mid Isle took the opportunity to present the wish list items to these Rotarians, who accepted the items on behalf of the schools.
“The participating schools from Anguilla were Alwyn Alison Richardson Primary School, and Valley Primary School. Alwyn Alison Richardson Primary School received a projector, three standing fans and a radio with a CD player, while the Valley Primary School received a projector and a photo copier/scanner.”
