Be The Change Foundation Seeks Applicants for Dream BIG Scholarship | SOUALIGA NEWSDAY

SINT MAARTEN (PHILIPSBURG) – The Be The Change Foundation is once again seeking applicants for their annual scholarship fund whereby they present small but helpful grants to students looking to further their educational careers locally and abroad.

Eligible students residing in St. Maarten/St. Martin are encouraged to apply online for the annual Dream Big Scholarship, a fund dedicated to Be The Change Foundation’s late founder Erika Cannegieter.

“Every student has different educational aspirations, but the increasing cost of paying for higher education, especially after Hurricane Irma is still apparent for most. By providing scholarship assistance, we can help boost deserving students who want to graduate with a degree and give back to the St. Maarten society. The support that students receive from their own community can help motivate them to make it through a university career.”

Applicants must meet the criteria and provide complete answers to the required questions in order to qualify. The Board of Directors will determine the number and amount of each grant awarded based on the annual budget. The deadline to apply is July 15th at 11:59pm.

The application is free and is available on the Be The Change Foundation website:
