SINT MAARTEN (PHILIPSBURG) - The House of Parliament will sit in a Central committee meeting on October 7, 2026.

The Central Committee meeting is scheduled for Wednesday at 14.00 hrs. in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelminastraat #1 in Philipsburg. The Prime Minister and the Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sport will be in attendance.

1.Approval composition delegations and provisions for Members of Parliament to attend official parliamentary invited events and parliamentary work visits:

a.Approval of composition delegation and provisions for Members of Parliament to participate in the World e-Parliament Conference 2026 co-organized by the Inter Parliamentary Union and the European Parliament from November 16-18, 2026, in Brussels, Belgium (IS/079/2026-2027 dated September 24, 2026)

2.Discussion with the Government on Building Digital Trust: Responsible AI for a Stronger Democracy and Empowered Communities

Members of the public are invited to the House of Parliament to attend parliamentary deliberations. All persons visiting the House of Parliament must adhere to the house rules.

The House of Parliament is located across from the Court House in Philipsburg.
