SINT MAARTEN (POINT BLANCHE) - On Sunday March 3rdat approximately 8.00 a.m. a joint search and rescue consisting of members of the VKS, Fire Department, Paramedics and Police Department took place in the area of the Point Blanche Prison to locate and rescue a mentally challenged man identified with initials J.R. who seemed not to be able to find his way out. 

The area was searched and the victim was located approximately 300 meters into the bushes from main road. When the victim was found he was not wearing any clothing and was not wearing any shoes.

He was attended to by paramedics and then taken to Mental Health Foundation for further treatment. (Sint Maarten Police Force)
