Generation New Status STM concludes successful Band Intensive Workshop for Band members | SOUALIGA NEWSDAY

SINT MAARTEN (PHILIPSBURG) – Band Leader Youmay Dormoy extended thanks to Dion Wright-Nelson and Jeffery Tribble Jr. who conducted a Band intensive exclusively for members of Generation New Status STM Drum band during the midterm break.

Twenty-five band members participated in the intensive and were taught cadences, equipment care, discipline, leadership and Countdown techniques. As a result of this successful workshop Generation New Status and the Musicianship will collaborate on future workshops and both organizations are in discussions for several GNS members to participate in future cultural exchange workshops in Washington.
