At the same time, the driver of the SUV turned left onto Flamboyant Road without allowing sufficient clearance for the scooter rider. As a result, the scooter vehicle collided with the left side of the SUV.

The rider sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital for medical treatment. His condition is currently considered critical. Traffic Department officers responded to the scene and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.

KPSM urges all road users to exercise caution, remain alert, and ensure that there are sufficient space and visibility before overtaking or making turns.

Further information will be provided when available and when it can be released without compromising the ongoing investigation.
