SINT MAARTEN (GREAT BAY) - The KPSM traffic department was notified of a traffic accident involving an ATV motorcycle and a pickup truck in the vicinity of the Freedom Fighters Roundabout.
Preliminary information indicates that, for reasons yet to be determined, the rider of the ATV collided with the pickup truck.
The ATV- rider sustained injuries and received medical attention at the scene from ambulance personnel. His condition was reported to be stable and the injuries were not considered life-threatening.
The KPSM reminds all ATV riders and operators to exercise caution and practice safe riding at all times. Responsible riding is essential to help prevent accidents and protect riders, motorists, pedestrians, and visitors alike.
