SINT MAARTEN (PHILIPSBURG) - The St. Maarten Lions Club will be hosting its annual “Lions International Peace Poster Contest. The launching of this year’s Peace Poster Contest will take
on August 24, 2021, at 4:00 pm at the Lions Civic Center next to the Yuppie Gas Station in Sucker Garden.
The Sint Maarten Lions Club has teamed up with Ms. Tess Verheij, director of the Art Craft Cafe, who will guide the contestants in preparing their poster for this year’s Peace Poster Competition.
This year’s theme is “We are all Connected.”
The contest is open for contestants who will be 11, 12 or 13 years of age on November 15, 2021. Eligible birth dates are November 16, 2007, through November 15, 2010.
