SINT MAARTEN (PHILIPSBURG) - On Tuesday, September 8, 2026, the Minister of Finance is scheduled to submit the draft National Ordinance stipulating the Budget for Sint Maarten the service year 2027 to the President of Parliament at 14.00 hrs.

In accordance with Article 38 of the National Accountability Ordinance, the draft national ordinance concerning the establishment of the budget shall be submitted to Parliament by the Minister of Finance, on behalf of all Ministers, no later than the second Tuesday of September.

The submission of the draft Budget and the subsequent press briefing will take place in the General Assembly Chamber of the House of Parliament at Wilhelminastraat #1 in Philipsburg.
