PORT ST. MAARTEN – Port St. Maarten Group (PSG) management is in the process of upgrading infrastructure and carrying out the necessary improvements at the Dr. A.C. Wathey Cruise & Cargo Facilities, Captain Hodge Wharf, and at the Water Plantz Square that will further enhance the cruise product.
Small contractors are being requested to partake in upcoming tenders related to various small construction works and renovation projects.
In order to participate, interested contractors will have to submit a number of documents in order to comply with PSGs corporate governance regulations.
The documents that small contractors will have to submit are Letter of Engagement; Business License; Chamber of Commerce & Industry excerpt of registration; Receivers Office Declaration; Inspectorate of Taxes Registration; Two Recommendation Letters of Works from previous clients.
Contractors established and operating less than a year are excluded. For enquiries and document submission, you can email: contractors@portstmaarten.sx
The projects will be announced once PSG has updated its contractor database.
PSG has chosen the current slow period to execute the facility improvements prior to the start of the 2022-2023 high season. Current cruise market rebounds indicate a promising season ahead.
