Child malnutrition is known to have an adverse effect on the cognitive function of children and despite global efforts to combat child hunger, it remains rampant in many undeveloped and developing countries. Under nutrition often leaves children vulnerable to numerous illnesses and diseases.
Secretary/ President Elect Franklyn Salomons stated, “Being healthy and well fed is an integral part of a child’s development. We, as the Rotary Club of St. Martin Sunset are happy to be able to contribute to ensuring the students at this school can meet their nutritional needs.
