SAINT-MARTIN (MARIGOT) - On November 8, Saint-Martin is invited to be part of it. Three years ago, Garage Solidaire et Associatif – Éco Suprême was still an ambitious project: to create a place in Saint-Martin where people could repair and maintain their vehicles at a cost adapted to their means, while also creating opportunities for training, social inclusion and the sharing of skills and experience.

Three years later, we are still here. And if the project has grown, moved forward and gained credibility, it is also thanks to everyone who, from the very beginning, has talked about our actions, shared our story and helped give us visibility.

So, first and foremost: thank you. Today, we have reached an important milestone: the land has been found, the building permit is in progress, and Saint-Martin's first Garage Solidaire is expected to open in 2027.

Because in Saint-Martin, being able to get around is not always simply a matter of convenience. Very often, it means being able to get to work, attend training, access healthcare, take care of your children or simply remain independent.

November 8: a day of fun… and solidarity to support this next stage, the association is organizing its Grand Vide-Grenier Solidaire – Car Boot Sale on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at La Savane – Sandy's Orange, opposite Lycée Robert Weinum.

The goal is simple: to bring together up to 75 sellers and around 300 visitors for a friendly, popular and community-minded day. Come to sell, browse, find a bargain, take part in our big Solidarity Raffle, and simply enjoy the day… while making a very real contribution to the future Garage Solidaire. Seller registration is now open: €20 / $20 in total, including the space and association membership.

Behind this event are three years of hard work Behind this Car Boot Sale are three years of hard work, meetings, doors we have knocked on, partners who believed in the project, and a team that never gave up.

Above all, there is one strong belief: mobility can be a powerful tool for inclusion. The future Garage Solidaire aims to provide a practical, local response to mobility challenges, while also becoming a place for solidarity, skills sharing, training and social inclusion, particularly for young people.

November 8 will therefore be much more than a Car Boot Sale. It will be another important step towards opening Saint-Martin's first Garage Solidaire. And we would be delighted if you continued to share this journey with us, Dominique, Virginie & Romy Board Members – Garage Solidaire et Associatif – Éco Suprême said on Wednesday about their project which is now coming to fruition in 2027.
