SINT MAARTEN (GREAT BAY) - Xtratight Entertainment is introducing a new celebration of one of Sint Maarten’s greatest characteristics: its extraordinary multicultural community.
AROMA — Sint Maarten’s Multicultural Food & Music Festival will take place on Sunday, December 6, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the APS Parking Lot. Admission will be FREE.
Sint Maarten is home to people and cultures from around the world, and that diversity can be experienced every day through the island’s restaurants, food, music, languages and traditions.
AROMA is designed to bring those cultures together in one melting pot.
“You always hear people speak about the many nationalities and cultures that call Sint Maarten home, but with AROMA we want people to actually experience that diversity in one place,” said Bertaux Fleming, CEO of Xtratight Entertainment. “As a food lover myself, I’ve always appreciated how you can travel the world through food right here on Sint Maarten. AROMA takes that idea and creates one big melting pot where the food, music, people and cultures all come together for one experience. We are very excited about this latest addition to the Xtratight calendar and what we believe AROMA can grow to become for Sint Maarten.”
For one day, the APS Parking Lot will be transformed into a multicultural food and entertainment village featuring restaurants, chefs, caterers, food vendors and food trucks serving flavors from across the Caribbean and around the world.
Visitors will be able to move from culture to culture, discover new dishes, revisit familiar favorites and enjoy an afternoon and evening of multicultural entertainment.
The festival will also feature DJs, track performances, cultural presentations, bars, covered dining areas, vendor patios and a Kids FunZone featuring dry attractions for younger visitors.
AROMA is now inviting restaurants, food trucks, caterers, chefs and culinary entrepreneurs to register to participate in the inaugural festival.
Organizers are particularly encouraging businesses representing the many different cuisines and cultures found throughout Sint Maarten to participate. The objective is not simply to assemble food vendors, but to create a true culinary representation of the island.
AROMA will also offer partnership and activation opportunities for companies interested in aligning their brands with a new event celebrating food, culture, family and the diversity of Sint Maarten.
