PHILIPSBURG:— As of November 16th, there were six (6) persons who tested positive for COVID-19; however, there was a recovery rate of twenty- two (22) persons; bringing the total active cases to fifty- eight (58). The total number of confirmed cases is now nine hundred and thirty- nine (939).
The Collective Prevention Services (CPS) are monitoring fifty- one (51) people in home isolation. Seven (7) patients are currently hospitalized at the St. Maarten Medical Center. The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 remains at twenty- four (24).
