PHILIPSBURG:— As of October 27th, there were three (3) persons who tested positive for COVID-19; however there were a recovery rate of four (4) persons; bringing the active cases to fifty- six (56). The total number of confirmed cases is now seven hundred and ninety- two (792).
The Collective Prevention Services (CPS) are monitoring forty-nine (49) people in home isolation. Six (6) patients remain hospitalized at the St. Maarten Medical Center and one (1) patient is isolated and being monitored. The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 remains at twenty- two (22).
