New SBoD soon to be installed.
PHILIPSBURG:--- The Shareholder representative and the Supervisory Board of Directors met on Thursday morning where they handled two agenda points, one being the dismissal of the three remaining members of the Supervisory Board of Directors namely, Rene Richardson, Ed Gumbs and Zylena Barry. The second agenda point handled during that meeting is the appointment of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) William Brooks.
Minister of VROMI Angel Meyers confirmed to SMN News that the meeting was held and those were the agenda points that were handled.
The Minister further explained that the third agenda point to install the new board could not be handled because the Supervisory Board members that were dismissed on Thursday protested against them dealing with that agenda point claiming that they were not aware of the agenda point to install the new members of the Supervisory Board.
Meyers said that the Shareholder is now looking at holding a meeting as early as Monday to install the new board members namely:-
1. Oral Gibbes
2. Tazio Bervoets
3. Agnes Monte
4. Romeo Pantophlet
5. Sandy Offringa
6. Roy Marlin
7. Patrice Gumbs.
