On Tuesday, December 27th, at about 8.00 PM, a collision between a dirt bike and a scooter took place on the van Tonningenweg. The dirt bike hit the scooter. One person had a serious head injury and the other person was suspected to have a broken leg. Both victims were taken to the hospital for medical treatment. Later, one of the victims was transferred to Sint Maarten for specialist treatment. The dirt bike was seized for further investigation.
