PHILIPSBURG:— The Tax Administration Sint Maarten, (Inspectorate department), would like to remind the general public that the deadline to file the Income Tax forms 2017 is the 31st of May 2018. The opening hours of the front desk of the Tax Administration will be extended from 7.30 am to 4 pm on the 30th and the 31st of May 2018 in order to provide the taxpayers with extra time to file their income tax forms.
Taxpayers who require additional time to file their tax form can request for a postponement no later than the 31st of May 2018. The postponement can be for a maximum of 2 months only. A request for a postponement to file the Income Tax form 2017 can be submitted at the front desk of the Tax Administration located at the Vineyard Building. Requests for a postponement must be properly motivated and substantiated as to the reason(s) why the tax forms cannot be submitted on time. You are also requested to provide the Tax Administration with a copy of your id, cribnumber, phone number and email address so we contact you for further information.
