PHILIPSBURG: --- The Vice Chairman of  NV GEBE board Dimar Labega and board member Vanesa Fraser submitted their resignation to the shareholder representatives on Sunday. So far 4 members of the board have submitted their resignations. They are Chairman Anastasio Baker, Lela Simmons, Dimar Labega, and Vanesa Fraser. The remaining members are Denicio Boasman and Emmanuel Brooks.
SMN News learned that the shareholder representative intends to suspend Merill Temmer and Sharine Daniel and appoint Troy Washington as an Independent Temporary Manager of NV GEBE.
Reliable information reaching SMN News states that the shareholder wants an independent investigation conducted since they recently received the final report that was submitted by Aurora Infotech.

The move to remove both Temmer and Daniel came after Temmer returned from medical leave on Friday, September 2nd, 2022 when the shareholder instructed the SBOD to appoint an Independent Temporary Manager and to launch an independent investigation into the operations of NV GEBE during the past months.
Sources say the Parliament of ST. Maarten intends to table a motion of no confidence against the Prime Minister when she returns to parliament with the answers to the questions posed by members of parliament last week.
On Friday the Minister of VROMI who is also responsible for the appointment of GEBE board members survives a motion of no confidence by one vote against. It took senior member of parliament William Marlin to attend the public meeting on crutches to save the day for the National Alliance's highest vote-getter.
