PHILIPSBURG:--- The Government of St. Maarten regulates the prices of petroleum products by imposing a maximum price at which wholesalers and retailers can sell these products on St. Maarten. Due to the ongoing developments on the international level, the price of crude oil has experienced a drop to $30 a barrel. Taking into consideration that our local prices of the refined petroleum products follow the trend of the price of crude oil on the international market, the local petroleum price of ULG and Diesel have experienced a decrease. Given the aforementioned, the general public is hereby informed that as of Saturday 23rd January 2016, 6:00am the
maximum consumer prices of ULG and Diesel (gasoil) are adjusted as follows:
