Port of Spain (ILO News):--- The International Labour Organization (ILO) will present the findings of two reports on the prospective occupational and skills needs in the Guyanese oil and gas and construction industry on 30 November 2022. The reports provide an overview of the main profiles and competencies needed in either industry during the period 2022-2026 as resulting from dedicated establishment surveys and interviews with local stakeholders.

The information can contribute to shaping the ongoing reform of the education and training system in Guyana to address issues of access, equity, quality, and relevance in relation to the changing demands of ...
