Joint Court of Appeals rejected the request on toddler’s killer.

PHILIPSBURG:— The Joint Court of Justice rejected two requests made by N.B.’s defense attorney during the preliminary hearing held on April 6. In its April 26 verdict the Joint Court of Justice did not honor the request for a new forensic investigation by experts on the available medical data nor did it honor the request to hear three new suspects in the case. The Solicitor General had also pleaded against these requests.
N.B. is suspected of strangling a toddler who was entrusted to him on August 27, 2014. The appeal case against N.B. will be handled on June 9 N.B. was sentenced on June 17, 2015 by the Court of First Instance to 12 years in jail.
