Lenovo and Antek IT Solutions & Software donated 20 additional Lenovo ThinkPad Chromebooks to Milton Peters College.

PHILIPSBURG:— Lenovo and Antek had already donated 32 Lenovo ThinkPad Chromebooks in January to MPC and Sint Maarten Academy, which were personally handed over by Michael Abplanalp, Lenovo Director of Channel Sales. Those 32 donated systems matched 32 Lenovo Chromebooks purchased and donated by the Foresee Foundation for the DigiTeenz project. Mike was so impressed with the project that was set up by MPC to utilize these Chromebooks for the students that during his visit he committed Lenovo to donate another 20 units.

Sergio Blomont, Coordinator VSBO-PKL/PBL and Renaldo Baker in charge of integration of technology in the classrooms received the Lenovo systems on behalf of MPC and were very appreciative of the donations as they will allow MPC to finalize this important IT project for the students. The students and teachers in attendance were also very appreciative and enthusiastic at the potential for learning and teaching these systems will provide.
