GREAT BAY (DCOMM):--- Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (Ministry VROMI), announces that there will be multiple road closures on Sunday, November 6.
The closure is in connection to finalizing the road crossing on Union Road.
Road closures and diversions are as follows: No through traffic coming from Brouwers road, Welfare road and G.A. Arnell road in the direction of Union road (Marigot).
Motorists will be diverted from Kruythoff Round-a-bout via Welfare road, Wellington road through Orange Grove road for direction Marigot.
Traffic will flow from Union road direction of Brouwers road (Philipsburg) via Orange Grove road, Wellington road, through Welfare road.
The contract to execute the works will be carried out by Clean St. Maarten.
Motorists and pedestrians in the area should pay keen attention when commuting as heavy equipment will be in use. Pay attention to traffic diversion signs and workmen who will be present to help direct the flow of traffic.
Ministry VROMI apologizes for any inconveniences this may cause.
