PHILIPSBURG:--- The Board, leadership and members of the National Alliance wish to take this opportunity to thank all voters of St. Maarten who came out to the polls on Monday, September 26th, 2016 to exercise their democratic rights and responsibilities as citizens who love this tiny nation. You have spoken! We have heard your VOICE!
A special word of gratitude goes out to 3,700 plus voters who showed their confidence in the National Alliance and our hardworking and dedicated candidates. We thank God for a peaceful election day free of violence and danger. We understand that though we are competitors for the vote that we must live amicably together after elections are over.
We also take this opportunity to thank all our candidates who remained focus and on message and brought forth issues that we as a Party considered relevant to the Nation. We congratulate all the new faces that will be taking their seats in our Parliament, and we welcome those who will be returning.
